How to: Xiaomi HongMi Note 4G FDD-LTE MIUI V6 install Google Apps – Google Play – Google Services Framework

This is a How to on installing Google Services Framework and then Google Play on your Xiaomi HongMi Note 4G MIUI 6.

You could always flash to the MIUI V5 4G Global Rom as that would be the best way to do this

– but if you wanted to keep MIUI V6 and add Google Services and Google Play follow the steps below:

Step 1. In the “Mi Market” – Search for the keyword “google” and locate and install Google Installer

Step 2. Once Google Installer in Installed, open it and find Google Play Store.

NOTE: FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW EXACTLY!

– Tap on Install

– Tap on OK

Step 3. It will ask you to install 4 pieces of software as pictured below – DO NOT INSTALL GOOGLE PLAY YET!

DO THE FOLLOWING:,
a. Google Play Services, INSTALL
b. Google Play Store, CANCEL
c. Google Account Manager, INSTALL
d. Google Service Framework, INSTALL

Step 4. Reboot your phone – when the phone starts up it will ask you some questions – just confirm.

Step 5. Open Google Installer app again, and click to install Google Play Store. Google Play will now install.

Step 6. Install Gmail from the Google Installer and Log in with you Gmail account – this makes sure everything is working before you open Google Play

Step 7. Open Google play – Try to install an app – wait for Google Play to update – then you should Done!

Step 8. Install any other services from Google Installer you might need

– Google Calendar Sync

– Google Contacts Sync
