Salesforce Group Edition Email to Lead – Log emails to Leads / Contacts
A client wanted to be able to create leads from emails but also log all emails to leads.
To do this we installed 2 free Apps from the Salesforce app exchange.
1. Email to Lead (OR) Email2Lead (OR) LeadFromEmail

With this app you create a simple email2lead email address and forward emails to that address and then it will create leads.
2. VCS Smart Email for Group & Professional Edition

This app adds a nice mail function to sales force. It also create a smart email address that you forward emails to – the apps then checks to see if the to or from email address matches a lead /contact and then adds it to the contact.
